About Chimney Sweep of Bath
The name Tippett in chimney sweeping goes back to 1952 in Bath when Francis Tippett established his business. Using his skills in the trade, he worked on many chimney's in the city.
Francis was joined by his son George Tippett, learning the skills of the trade. Using the rods with with different brushes and vacuum on chimney's all over the city.
Now having learnt from George who has now retired, I Justin Clifford married to his second daughter has taken on the trade and carried on the family business. Working alongside my farther-in-law watching him sweep many chimney's, I have gained the knowledge I needed to go further.
I decided to head to Cornwall to train with APICS in 2013 to further my range of skills and achievements. After completeing the course, I headed back to Bath to start sweeping flues of open fires, stoves and cookers.
